HEADWATERS TO BIOLOGICAL FIELD STATION
In the morning we met board member James Pike and he shuttled Victoria and I to the headwaters of the River. He came to Bemidji from Chicago to send us on our way – a true friend. It was a short, hard run ending back at the University of Minnesota Biological Field Station where we heard the voices and studied the movements of faculty, staff and students. Great hospitality but a late evening and we’re scrambling to document the day’s research and prep for tomorrow. Learning as we go . .
