Ben Sanders, Company Member
Ben Sanders (b. 1995) is a dancer, printmaker, and experiential educator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In all of their disciplines, Ben seeks to hold space for the unexpected to arise. They recently graduated from Middlebury College, where they studied sociology and studio art. Ben started dancing at the end of their college career, focusing mainly in compositional improvisation while also dancing in several contemporary and dance/theatre works. Recently, Ben joined Reggie Wilson’s Fist and Heel Dance Company for their site-specific adaptation of Citizen at the Lynden Sculpture Garden in Milwaukee.
Ben is excited to join A House Unbuilt for the Relay of Voices project and continue integrating their background in sociology, experiential education, and art into their ongoing exploration of dance as a medium that allows for shared creative expression and meaning-making much larger than each individual dancer.
